Curtis Anderson grew up in Warren, Ohio and moved to Concord, NC in 2002. He has been married to his wife Shannon for 11 years and they have two young daughters. He and his family are members of Concord First Assembly. Prior to becoming an Officer with the Concord Police Department in 2006, Curtis was a Deputy Sheriff with the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department.
